The Mosa TS 250 KD/EL Diesel Welder Generator (AC generator output – 6.5 kVA Three Phase and 4.5 kVA Single Phase) provides up to a 250 amp DC welding output capable of up to 6mm diameter electrodes. Powered by a quality diesel Kohler KD 477.2 engine and an asynchronous alternator, it can be used simultaneously as a welder and generator, supplying single and three phase power.
It has a dual range function and an open circuit voltage of 70V. The engine driven welder TS 250 KD/EL is a professional machine with electronic welding control, with the capability of delivering 250 amps at 35% duty cycle. Incorporated in the TS 250 is a 12V battery, a battery charge indicator and this machine benefits from an electric start.
An advantage of this welder is its’ diesel , Kohler engine which runs to a high specification and is very efficient with a fuel consumption of 1.7 litres per hour. The engine output is 14.9kw (20.3 hp) and has the capacity to generate an accessible speed of 3000 rpm.
With a weight of 200kg, the TS 250 is easily transportable and is fitted with a protective wrap around frame enabling effortless handling. However, this welder does not conform to the latest EEC noise regulations.
